Bowden Marine Service has provided service to customers in Mount Desert Island and Downeast Maine since 1982. We employ of a full-time staff of factory-trained, seasoned marine professionals who are supported by a well-stocked parts and accessories department.
Our service department employs a philosophy of completing the job or repair correctly to our high standards—the first time, every time. Our full-time staff has more than 100 years of combined experience in all aspects of marine service including: maintenance and major repair of outboard and sterndrive systems, repowering of older craft, computerized parts inventory control with access to manufacturers' databases, cosmetic restoration and structural repair of fiberglass boats, custom installation of accessories and electronics, boat trailer repair and fitting, boat transport, and off season storage.
In-house and annual factory-sponsored training programs assure that our technicians are up-to-date on the latest products and procedures.
