Kittery Point

Welcome to Maine! Kittery Point is aptly described as the “Gateway to Maine,” and along with adjacent Pepperell Cove, it is the state’s first port of call for many boaters. It lies just across the Piscataqua River from Portsmouth, NH, and is appreciated for its classic setting, as it has a long history dating to its original settlement in 1623. (Kittery is also known for a mile-long stretch of outlet stores along Route 1.)
